Kerala in Munich

This restaurant distributes its advertising in ALL mailboxes, even those that do NOT want advertising. The advertisement is still half hanging out. Incredible!!!

We have already been to eat there and have had food delivered. It always tasted very good and the portions were plentiful. The staff were always polite and helpful.

Love the food! Would definitely recommend Medu Wada, Chicken Dosa and Channa Bature ? Very good service and friendly staff! I order this almost every other day via delivery service.

Having dosa in the menu isn't sufficient to claim South Indian cuisine, especially Kerala food! Hyderabadi style briyani was a total fake... Kerala/ malabar fish was of readymade food quality... Unfortunately Munich has nothing better to offer, in general, when it comes to South Indian food. Please look elsewhere!

Very good selection of dishes and so far everything has been very tasty and plentiful. Also great for vegetarians. Appetizers like samosa and garlic naan were also convincing, everything was well seasoned and with several dips. In terms of price, everything is totally within the framework. Order here more often in the future!

Ordered via Lieferando, called after 2 hours and said the driver was on the way, after 4 hours I think I can say that it won't come. Problems can arise, but treating customers like that is easy

Nothing to do with "kerala" food, not even one authentic kerala dish on the menu. The food isn't that great. Worst service and impartial to indians in specific.

Dosa is a must try here and there staff were really good.

Best things to try- Masala dosa (mild spicy), mallu parotha with katahal tikka (bit more spicy).. Never try nonveg there..the worst as I saw ppl who wanted to have nonveg and had anger in return ?

My friends and I went to this restaurant in September and our experience was bad. The food was good, no doubt about that but the staff is extremely unprofessional, unreasonable and rude. I will skip telling the story. But one thing is for sure, that all the reviews about the staff being rude is absolutely true!

One of the good South Indian restaurant. Dosa are the best. I recommend thadka in chutney.

Very incompetent. I had ordered Dosa Special for Kerala and got Kerala Special Mixed veg curry. It wasn't authentic either. Why is there broccoli in Dosa? Very disappointing! Plus I didn't get my change either. As an Indian I would not recommend it.

Traditional South Indian cuisine, rather unusual for Munich, but very good. Provides sufficient space and distance for the guests in Corona time. The service was also nice and attentive.

Idly and vada seems to be served from frozen state and not fresh, dosa was awful considering the south Indian restaurant standard!

The only South Indian restaurant in Munich. Real South Indian cuisine offers a wonderful variety and variety of flavors to the otherwise common monotony of North Indian restaurants. For years at a high quality level. Always my pleasure.

Attitude of the staff was pathetic, while reporting a small issue about the food. I was a big fan of their dosas and recommended my friends, but after this kind of behavior, never ever again ??

As always, the food was very, very good, but the waitresses struggled to serve the numerous guests promptly. Still: next to an Indian restaurant in my neighborhood, my favorite Indian restaurant in Munich!

If you want a good dosa in munich this is the place I can choose any time this restaurant in munich over other indian restaurants. Service and staff is also good, on the lunch hours menu has less price. If you want to try south indian food this is the place

Food was average .. masala dosa is good.. but vadas are heavy and dense.. no flavour of Kerala or south india.. taste could be improved.. we also ordered tandoori roti which was quite thick along with a spl. Aubergine side dish which was tasty.. if taste inproves this place would match its very good interiors n kind staff...

The food was not authentic and underwhelming. It was my friend’s birthday and this restaurant visit was our least interesting activity.They certainly have branded themselves wrongly there was no feels of kerela on this kerela restaurant

Is this really a kerala restaurant.I was there with my friends. I was really disappointed with the food. Didn't even meet upto 1 percent of my expectations. Above all the attitude of some staffs were pathetic. Try to behave and treat customers properly.

Oriented too much to German eating habits. Dishes were too mild, even though the request was made to cook them very spicy and hot.

Very good restaurant with dishes from the south of India. The Dosai are particularly recommended. The service is great and everyone is very warm!

Basically it is not Kerala restaurant, Simply used Kerala’s Name . We have not seen any kerala staff’s and dishes in restaurant other than menu. request to owner to rename your restaurant and replace ‘kerala’ with ‘India’. because of above reasoning i am giving low rating. Positive: Very good place and spacious restaurant,staffs behaviour is super.

Strongly recommend to change the restaurant name. Else it misleads the people who really want to explore the Kerala dishes.

First point : This is not Kerala restaurant, its an indian restaurant with a North indian touch.Many items in the menu are not Kerala food, only in the name it is mentioned as Kerala. They should really think about changing the name as indian restaurant because its not fare. Food : Taste is good. price: little above average staff : Nice, friendly Ambiance: Good 3 star is because of the misleading name. Being a Kerala guy, i would definitely won't call this a Kerala restaurant.

The food is very good and tasty and the prices are reasonable. The service is a bit in need, because several waiters serve a table, otherwise quite nice.

After several visits, definitely the best Indian in Munich for me. No standard menu, but also a lot of unusual things that you won't find in many other Indian restaurants, everything always fresh and authentic.

The Indian near my job has wonderful South and North Indian cuisine. I have tested many Indians in Munich and it is one of the best. No idea where the score comes from

This place is good to satiate one's craving for South Indian food. But one should not have high expectations of taste. Service was good. We went on a Sunday afternoon and the restaurant was full but we didn't observe any delays in orders. The servers were attentive. I personally loved the ambience. Particularly, Natraj idol is alluring. Now, talking about the most important things i.e. food. We ordered snacks. Uthappa and Idli were good. However, Masala Dosa and Medu Wada were just average. The taste can be improved to a great extent. Sambar snd chutneys were good.

Authentic south indian taste. The staff is really friendly as well. I'll definitely recommend others to try it.

The restaurant made me low Infront of my colleagues, because it's just a name and serving very bad old food items . No body likes it and a utter waste of money.

My wife and I recently ate here and we were pleased with our experience. The interior is decent and colorful, with very comfortable seating. The waiters were attentive and very friendly. We ordered several appetizers, (all delicious) 2 entrees, and garlic naan. My wife also ordered a mango lassi, which he said was one of the best he's had. All of our food was very, very tasty and reasonably priced. The Kerela restaurant will now be our go- to place for Indian cuisine. The food is extremely flavorful, cooked to perfection, and the side dishes will make your mouth water especially the keema dosai...

I thought a lot about the rating I want to give this restaurant. I remember how delighted I was to have finally found a place which serves Dosa!! ? I‘ve been here 3 times now and have ordered masala dosa on all 3 occasions (surprise, surprise ?) It‘s good, no doubt. But expensive! You are essentially paying 11€ for a snack! Also, my sister was very disappointed with the kerala special dosa. I also remember how annoyed she was because she felt uncomfortably full after dinner (hilarious), both of us actually which is weird because we only had one dosa each..
